WP Cerber Security 9.6.10
We’ve just released a new version of WP Cerber, and while you won’t see big visual changes, this update is all about the details that prepare WP Cerber for the future.
We refined how links are generated in email alerts, made admin navigation smoother, and strengthened URL and data sanitizing in rare edge cases. These are the kinds of improvements you don’t always notice directly, but they make everything work better, safer, and more consistent. Starting with this version, WP Cerber requires PHP 7.4 or newer, and we recommend PHP 8.x for the best performance and security. Step by step, release by release, we’re making sure WP Cerber stays reliable today and ready for tomorrow.
Bug fixes and improvements
- Bug fix: When a user entered a wrong password in the login form, the message showing how many login attempts remained would disappear. It now always stays visible, letting users clearly see how many attempts they have left.
- Bug fix: When the site was restricted to logged-in users only, the custom message above the login form would disappear after a user entered a wrong password. It now always remains visible, helping visitors understand why login is required.
